Default My injectors wont spray

I have a 96 Camaro RS with a 3.8 engine. I just replaced the heads to my car. I put everything back together and now the injectors wont open. I unhook the fuel lines and turn the car over to see is gas pumping in which it is. The car do start up when spraying starter fluid in the intake, but shuts right off as soon as I stop spraying. I check the spark, and it have spark. The fuel rails do have gas in it when I push the little button in to release gas. So it all leads to the injectors. Is it possible my compter went ou and im not recievig a ground to the injectors. Im pretty sure they not clogged. I double checked all the wires and made sure they were connected. What else could be the problem? I dont want to by a computer if thats not the problem. All fuses are good.

Check all the fuses. Maybe the ECM fuse is blown. Sounds like no power is at the injectors. Could also be a bad pick up coil not telling the ECM where the #1 cylinder is.

Question Re: My injectors wont spray

a duel polarity test light can be used to check injector signal. injectors are grounded by the computer to open. connect test light to pos bat term and probe signal wire at injector, if green light stays on at one or more (but not all) injector(s) computer's bad. but I rather suspect some other issue. is the mil lamp on maybe you should have the car scanned, ckp cmp sensors will prevent injector signal, if you use jumper wires you can hear and feel good injectors click. also fuel pressure must be high enough. if you still suspect computer trouble, see what the return policy is at your nearer junk yards, that you might try another computer, explain to them what your trying. if they won't help most used car lots keep a good stock of junk see if they might help. otherwise just keep trying to discover the problem i suspect something rather simple is the cause.

You may want to use a noid light to test the injector power since many test lights have too little resistance and may hurt the injector driver in the ECM.
